WORDPRESS WEB DESIGN COURSES IN BRISTOL
One-to-one WordPress web design course for beginners and non-coders
A comprehensive WordPress course for beginners
The majority of WordPress courses are theme based training courses. This means, you spend most of your training day customising a theme/website that’s been designed by someone else. That’s great fun and easy to teach, but it doesn’t teach the student how to design and build their own website.
With our course you’ll learn how to use WordPress with a page builder and design a fully functional 5 page website. The site is yours to keep, will be optimised for search engines, and ready to enhance your business.
One to one WordPress training
Most web design courses only cover the basics, after all it’s difficult to teach a group of trainees all with different skill levels. We cover the basics, but we also go the extra mile, covering essential elements of web design that other courses miss out.
InterWeb Solution’s one-to-one training courses are held remotely on Zoom and aimed at WordPress beginners and non-coders. You’ll learn how to use the most advanced WordPress page builder currently available and how to design, build and maintain your own website. By the end of the course you will have a fully functional 5 page website.

A step by step web design course for WordPress newbies
Designing websites is not for everyone. Some people dislike computers and others turn pale at the thought of yet another training course. However, web design has moved on from the days of learning HTML and complex design software. WordPress has changed the face of website design forever.
Using WordPress and a modern page builder together enables small business owners to build and maintain their own websites.
One to one training allows us to focus on your skill level and bring you up to speed. By the end of the course you’ll have a good all round knowledge of WordPress and website design. You’ll be able to add, edit and delete text, photographs and pages, and publish the updates to your live website.

WordPress training course FAQ
The FAQ provides details of how to prepare for the course and other useful information. The course contents is listed above.
A 1 day course is simply not enough time to learn how to use WordPress competently and build a fully functional search engine optimised website, that actually compliments your business. A 1 day course will teach you how to customise someone else’s WordPress theme / website, it won’t teach you how to create and maintain your own website.
No. We teach you how to install, configure and use the most advanced WordPress page builder currently available. You’ll be amazed how easy it is to design and layout your pages.
Absolutely not. All you need is very basic computers skills, such as being able to find files and folders on your pc or mac.
Yes, a laptop, PC, or Mac.
Yes. The aim of the course is to build a 5 page website. Therefore, you will need a small selection of photos and a business logo. We can provide demo photos and a logo if need be. We usually use 5-7 photos, perhaps more if time allows. Also, you’ll need some copy/text, at least 300 words per page. You can choose the names of the 5 pages we create. Some examples are – Home – About – Services – FAQ – Contact (you only need a few words for the contact page).
During the course we learn about image optimisation – how to resize and compress images for the web. This is really easy to do and fun. If you have an image editor installed on your laptop and know how to use it, then great. However, if you’re new to image editing, not to worry, your pc or mac should have free pre-installed software for basic image editing.
Yes. Trainees receive an in-house Certificate of Competence on completion of the course.
Absolutely. This is a relaxed informal course aimed at WordPress beginners and non-coders. Although the course is technical at times we focus on how amazing WordPress can be if used correctly with a solid theme and reliable plugins.
